The first lockdown (An idea of the apocalypse)

When the virus first started to spread and we were told to quarantine ourselves it was something very unusual and weird it was like the whole world was being shut down all the football matches were cancelled, all the events were cancelled the shooting of the movies stopped people were not allowed to meet with each other all the shops were closed other than some medical stores and general stores who also had a specific time in which they were allowed to be open if we think about it now it seems very normal but back then it was like that the whole world was on a pause. Everyone was quarantined in their home at the fear of the virus taking over everybody’s mind because back then nobody knew what the virus was capable of and how can i encounter it once he got it.

I remember going out to get some groceries for the first time during the lockdown and the first thing that came into my mind was what if this is how the apocalypse will look like, not a single person on the road, people waiting in line 6 feet apart from each other just to get some groceries for their home, a total blackout after 5-6 pm nobody on the road no store was open and it looked like it was midnight at 8 pm. It was very hard and weird to take it all in, in such a short time and in that time all that was in my mind was that this is the first look at the apocalypse of the world.
