CovEID Mubarak!

ramazan

Ramadan is starting in a few days which means Eid al-Fitr is approaching. Everyone will dress up looking their best. Shopping has always been a thing in Ramazan, it has a different vibe to it. Last ashra of Ramadan has the markets going C-R-A-Z-Y.  Girls will wear the fanciest looks to cool-girls dressed-down outfits that are still elevated and put-together. And clothes are just not it, girls have a list of things they need to do as compared to boys. For example a girl has to get her hair done, she needs to mamtch her shoes (OBVIOUSLY), her bangles (because why not) and lastly she NEEEDS to get henna. However, on the other had all the boys must do is get a haircut (or maybe not). As Eid comes on the heels of Ramadan, which is a period of reflection and growth, it is common for fashion to be dictated by a woman’s newfound sense of self. Perhaps that means playing with color, finding a new silhouette you love, or simply styling your tried-and-true separates in new ways. Since Eid is in the early summers we should make the most of sunlight for some amazing ‘sunkissed’photos. I’m sure a lot of girls can relate to it.

Now let us be smart and responsible! Let us opt for online shopping and order things online. It is high time for us Pakistanis to start thinking wisely. Let us all come together and enjoy Eid keeping all the SOPs in mind and let us not forget to pray for the end of covid. Secure yourself as well as other people during Eid al-Fitr petitions, utilize your own supplication floor covering and keep up physical separating, wear your veil, decide to ask at home with close relatives just, recall the wiped out in your supplications this year
